Membership Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your membership at any time. Upon cancellation, you will receive a full refund of your membership fees, minus the difference between the member pricing and non-member pricing for any services rendered or purchases made (e.g., steel, accessories, swag) up to the cancellation date. Please note that this calculation may result in the cancelling member owing a balance if the value of services and goods exceeds the membership fees paid.
Example Scenario/Calculation:
You are a Select Member paying $18/month, and you’ve had the membership for 3 months. During this time, you’ve used the following benefits:
- Sharpenings: 6 at $5 each (member pricing), non-member price is $12 each.
- Profilings: 2 at $0 each (member pricing), non-member price is $50 each.
- Hat: 1 at $24 (discounted member price), non-member price is $30.
Total Spent (Member Pricing):
- 6 sharpenings @ $5 = $30
- 2 profilings @ $0 = $0
- 1 hat @ $24 = $24
- Total: $54
Total Spent (Non-Member Pricing):
- 6 sharpenings @ $12 = $72
- 2 profilings @ $50 = $100
- 1 hat @ $30 = $30
- Total: $202
Refund Calculation:
- Membership fees paid to date: $18/month × 3 months = $54
- Total non-member pricing: $202
- Amount owed: $54 (fees paid) - $202 (non-member pricing) = -$148
In this case, you would owe $148 upon cancellation.
The max amount owed will be capped at $408, the annual cost of our highest tier (paid monthly).
